Trail to Tarnica (1,346 m)
Trail length: approx. 6 km (one way)

Starting point: Wołosate (parking area at the end of the village)
Route description:
The trail leads to Tarnica – the highest peak of the Polish Bieszczady Mountains (1,346 m a.s.l.). It begins with a gentle ascent through the valley, followed by a forest path and open slopes leading to the Tarnica Pass. The final stretch is a short but steep climb to the summit, offering an impressive panorama of the surrounding mountains.

The trail to Wielka Rawka starts from Wyżniańska Pass, leading first through forested areas and then across open, grassy ridges. The final ascent becomes slightly steeper but rewards hikers with one of the most breathtaking panoramas in the Bieszczady Mountains.

Route description:
This is the most popular and shortest route leading to Połonina Wetlińska and the mountain shelter “Chatka Puchatka.” The trail gently ascends along a wide path, and once you leave the forest, it gradually opens up to panoramic views of the surrounding Bieszczady ridges. At the summit, a legendary rest stop awaits with an unforgettable view.

Trail to Halicz and Tarnica

One of the most spectacular and challenging loop trails in the Bieszczady Mountains. The route leads from the Tarnica Pass to Tarnica, then continues across Halicz, Rozsypaniec, and Bukowska Pass before descending back to Wołosate. The trail offers breathtaking panoramas, vast mountain landscapes, and encounters with unspoiled nature at every step.
